The cards are beautiful and it is a nice piece for my collection. I don't use my tarot cards anymore for many years, but I collect them. I like the art on this deck. The are beautiful and very inspirational for artistic purposes.
Received yesterday. Left the box of cards and book on my altar overnight per guidebook's cleansing instructions. Followed the other cleansing instructions in the book before I tried a basic 3 card reading. I've had a set of Rider-Waite tarot cards for many years but never really cared for the tarot and complicated layouts. This is my first set of oracle cards and I LOVE them. I waited until I had the house to myself, spread out a special clean blanket over an ottoman, got my question clear in my mind, and shuffled the cards until I felt calm. They're easy physically to shuffle. It's hard to remind yourself that it's okay to shuffle them and bend them a little because they're so beautiful. Then I placed the cards face down and laid out the first 3. The middle card, the present, was upside down. The guidebook addresses upside-down cards and cards that protrude from the deck when you're done shuffling. I WAS SO SPOOKED. The immediate past and the present cards were exactly right. The immediate future card is what I've been telling myself. I don't really care how they "work," but they seem to work. READ THE GUIDEBOOK IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU TRY A READING FOR YOURSELF. After I read for myself I wanted to read for someone else, but I didn't. I think you should work with the cards for a while, weeks, months, before you read for someone else.If you find these cards don't work for you as oracle cards, you have 44 beautiful frameable-quality works of art. The goddesses in the deck (okay some of these aren't goddesses, they're archetypes) are: Abundantia, Aeracura, Aine, Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Bast, Brigit, Butterfly Maiden, Cordelia, Coventina, Damara, Dana, Diana, Eireen, Freyja, Green Tara, Guinevere, Hathor, Ishtar, Iris, Isolt, Ixchel, Kali, Kuan Yin, Lakshmi, Maat, Maeve, Mary Magdalene, Mawu, Mother Mary, Nemetona, Oonagh, Ostara, Pele, Rhiannon, Sarasvati, Sedna, Sekhmet, Sige, Sulis, Vesta, White Tara, Yemanya.
I have been using these cards for many years on my spiritual journey. I have received a lot of guidance, hope, direction and advice from these cards. My brother was in a tragic motorcycle accident, and we didn't know if he was going to live. The card that called to me when I asked if he would live or not, was "Expect a Miracle". I held onto to that card the 2 1/2 months that he was in the hospital. I am now writing his story, "Miracle Man". My Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards give me inspiration and confidence. My readings are always right on target; 100% accurate. Each beautiful image specifically correlates to the message on each card. I frame each card from every reading for constant reminders. I love my guidance cards! I am purchasing another deck for a friend who is beginning her spiritual journey.
The artwork on these cards is nice, and the gold edging is perfect. No doubt thanks to the gold edging, the cards stuck together just slightly when I opened the box, but I went slowly and none of them stuck badly or got damaged. The cultures/goddesses most represented here are the Celtic and Greek ones. A few Asian and Indian goddesses are included, but I think only one African one (by which I mean non-Egyptian). As for Hebrew women, the inclusion of Mother Mary makes sense, since some sects of Christianity worship her as a goddess. The weird one, for me, was Mary Magdalene. A few other cards are like that: not goddesses but famous characters, like Guinevere.A friend used my deck to do a reading for me, and it was helpful. I haven't done a reading for myself yet, so I can't comment on that. To me, the cards feel inherently . . . "squeaky clean" or "sanitized." For that reason, they would be good for preteen and teen girls: no energy issues and lots of positive images of powerful women.I don't know that I'm inspired to use this in many readings, but as a collector, I'm quite satisfied.
I gained an interest in tarot card reading, but as a person with anxiety I was a little wary of trying out tarot when I knew there were some dark cards. I found these by chance and was immediately drawn to them. I love goddesses, and I purchased them as soon as I saw that Brighid the Celtic goddess was included. I use them everyday and they always give me accurate readings. I love that the cards are positive, and that the art is inspiring and beautiful. I really appreciate the inclusion of goddesses from different cultures. Also, as a woman with no children and no desire to have any, I love that the cards are varied in their definition of femininity (that is, they’re not all about being a mother or a caregiver etc). The price is also amazing. I couldn’t recommend these enough!
The creator has denounced oracle and tarot cards, which to me, makes her creations obsolete as she herself doesn’t believe in them. I feel like I wasted my money. It’s a shame the manufacturer continues to sell these. The product is worthless - Doreen Virute who created them has said so herself and who would know better than her? There are many other wonderful decks out there you could be using, where the creator put their heart and soul into it.

These are truly one of my favorite Oracle cards decks by her. they FEEL good and I instantly connected with them. I have done readings that have come out accurate...
I am pleasantly surprised. I generally don't like oracle cards. I think they are kind of cheesy and don't require a whole lot of intuition. Ironically that's what I like about these. They are no brainer cards that don't require you to think. That's just what I need this deck to do.The paper is nice. They have gold edging, which is pretty. And they are a good size for the hands.
